This young family had fully outgrown their current condo space in the west end. Vovô (grandpa in portuguese) was still living in their old downtown neighbourhood and wanted to help. Toronto's changing lanes policies offered Vovô that very opportunity. Now this family gets their chance at home ownership right in the city, back in their old neighbourhood, and minutes walk to work. Not to mention all of Vovô’s famous sausages and pizza from the traditional backyard oven. This is what life in the laneway is all about.
