A backyard studio reduces an artist’s commute and blends seamlessly into their beautiful garden.

This faux finish artist wanted a working studio in her own backyard. She dreamt of “a structure with clean lines and a zen like quality about it.” We designed and built a simple structure that complemented the beautiful gardens but didn’t take-over the entire yard. The prefinished wood siding was applied in such a way - using a zigzag pattern - that we achieved the desired look while keeping continuous clean lines throughout. Beautiful garden views with lots of light make this space a fantastic place to do creative work.
