Parkdale Studio

We wanted to build a structure with a simple geometry that gave a sense of light and spaciousness given that it's a small footprint. The interior was designed for flexibility. A small woodworking studio, but also a space that could easily be turned into a stand alone office/work space or even a garage. This “monopoly” style house gave us the perfect substructure for a fully wrapped airtight building envelope. Creating a space that you can heat with a light bulb.
